Used daily by small and large organizations,
municipalities, and individuals.

Why do you need the Floodar
alarm system?
alarm system?
Mayors, critical infrastructure providers, and asset-heavy companies protect what can't be replaced with Floodar. Intuitive interface, easy setup, and affordability are key.

Before…
Absent or insufficient observation system
Overspending on blindly applied measures
Sleepless nights, bracing for potential disaster
Uncertainty paralyzing business growth and daily ops
Lack of actionable data helping all involved parties
Assets at the mercy of unchecked water

After Floodar
Zero casualties even during flash floods
First responders are always on time
Timely measures keep infrastructure running
Business growth on track, inventory protected
Communities trust leaders' proactive planning
Minimum insurance costs due to prevention
Traditional flood alerts lack depth and granularity
We're reimagining what wireless systems can and should do.

Save lives
Human or livestock, Floodar helps prevent unnecessary casualties by early evacuation warning based on a smart sensor system alerts.
How to start using Floodar
The most fun and intuitive sensor system you'll ever work with.

Continuous support
Once the system is deployed, our technical team provides ongoing support, software updates, and operational resilience you can rely on.
Unique Floodar features
No expertise in floods, wastewater, or water quality? No problem! Our free knowledge base and community take you to success step by step.

Redundant comms
LoRa, NB-IoT, 2G, and satellite connectivity options ensure data transfer even during the worst floods, when infrastructure is failing.

Data Integrity
High-quality electronics and advanced post-processing ensure reliable flood warnings. We flag suspicious data and adjust system predictions.

Software included
Intuitive online dashboard and mobile app to view and understand sensor data is part of the Greywater package at no additional cost.

Simple & robust
Durable sensors withstand harsh flood conditions. Plug & play design with installation hardware for easy setup.
How Floodar works
We build on decades of experience
Tens of hydrology projects, research and development, and deployments - all under our belt. We try to imbue our products with the wisdom accumulated over a long time. These are the people behind them.

Viera Rattayova
Data scientist in Hydroclimatology
Viera is a scientist in hydroclimatology with a focus on data science, processing of remote sensing-based datasets, and the application of AI algorithms in hydroclimatological modeling. In the Meratch project, she contributes to the design of methodology and workflows for hydrological modeling.

Vladimir Chudoba
GIS expert
Vladimir has a background in GIS gained through research-oriented work focused on water systems and hydrological modeling. In the Meratch project, he develops and integrates spatial data workflows and geospatial analyses that form the backbone of hydrological modeling and risk evaluation.

Ondrej Zavodsky
HW lead engineer
With background in hardware engineering gained through research-oriented work focused on IoT electronic device design, he develops and integrates low-power IoT architectures and microcontroller workflows—notably for the skCUBE satellite project—that form the backbone of advanced sensing, stratospheric landing systems, and industrial monitoring solutions.

Milan Onderka
Hydrologist & Climatologist
Milan has expertise in hydrology and climatology, with a focus on meteorological and precipitation extremes. At Meratch, he contributes to the analysis and interpretation of extreme precipitation events to support the development of robust hydroclimatic monitoring and modelling tools.
