Martin Zrzavecký
Head of Underground Water Department, CHMI
Monitoring groundwater levels is our obligation at CHMI, and getting it right matters – the data feeds directly into national drought monitoring, hydrological balance assessments, and publicly available reports and maps about the state of groundwater across the Czech Republic. Meratch delivered 409 groundwater level measuring systems to CHMI, along with a dedicated server and mobile application for managing the devices. Throughout the process, we were given the flexibility to adjust the interface, user environment, and functionality to match our workflows and experience. Handover and data transmission were completed on time and without any issues. More than a year into operation, the instruments continue to meet CHMI standards and the collaboration between us and Meratch is ongoing, with a shared focus on continuously improving the day-to-day experience for our staff who work with the devices often.
