Peter Gabris
Hydrologist
Senior Computational Hydrologist with extensive experience and co-author of multiple flood forecasting systems for large river basins, which have been successfully utilized over many years.

Jozef Pecho
Climate analyst
Jozef has strong expertise in climate analysis and the evaluation of climate risks and extremes. Within Meratch, he translates climate data into actionable insights for hydroclimatic monitoring and forecasting solutions.

Miroslav Singer
Meteorologist
Miroslav has expertise in weather analysis, forecasting, and meteorological tool enhancement, with a primary focus on local severe weather phenomena. He works on the development and evaluation of nowcasting weather models for Meratch.

Viera Rattayova
Data scientist in Hydroclimatology
Viera is a scientist in hydroclimatology with a focus on data science, processing of remote sensing-based datasets, and the application of AI algorithms in hydroclimatological modeling. In the Meratch project, she contributes to the design of methodology and workflows for hydrological modeling.

Vladimir Chudoba
GIS expert
Vladimir has a background in GIS gained through research-oriented work focused on water systems and hydrological modeling. In the Meratch project, he develops and integrates spatial data workflows and geospatial analyses that form the backbone of hydrological modeling and risk evaluation.

Ondrej Zavodsky
HW lead engineer
With background in hardware engineering gained through research-oriented work focused on IoT electronic device design, he develops and integrates low-power IoT architectures and microcontroller workflows—notably for the skCUBE satellite project—that form the backbone of advanced sensing, stratospheric landing systems, and industrial monitoring solutions.

Milan Onderka
Hydrologist & Climatologist
Milan has expertise in hydrology and climatology, with a focus on meteorological and precipitation extremes. At Meratch, he contributes to the analysis and interpretation of extreme precipitation events to support the development of robust hydroclimatic monitoring and modelling tools.

Tomas Zvolensky
Business development manager
With background in wireless technologies, marketing, and business development, he helps Meratch customers figure out specifics of their wireless sensing projects and guides their buying journey.

Stefan Kadlic
Software Development
Head of the software department driving technical direction and execution across Meratch software projects. He works closely with hardware and science teams to deliver dependable systems for monitoring, analytics, and forecasting.

An experienced project manager focusing on implementing a world-renowed methodology called EOS—The Entrepreneurial Operating System, a comprehensive management framework, designed to help leadership teams gain control, improve efficiency, and achieve business growth.

New Rainfall and Soil Moisture Sensors
Installed eight sensors in the Svidník area, completing the operational chain for the FLOPRES project.
Tackling Water Management Challenges

Top 10 in Brew Accelerator with MERATCH
MERATCH earned a spot in the top 10 worldwide, gaining entry into the prestigious Brew Accelerator program organized by the Water Council in Milwaukee.
Launch of Smart Water Wells
Following our success in the Brew Accelerator and our newfound expertise in water quality testing, we launched a new spinoff from MERATCH—Smart Water Wells. This turnkey solution empowers well owners with real-time water quality monitoring capabilities.
FLOPRES: The Flash Flood Prevention Initiative
GOSPACE LABS signed with the CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, as a delegate of the European Commission, a contract for the FLOPRES project - a unique system of forecasting and prevention against flash floods.
Full-Scale ISO Certification Achievement

In 2017, GOSPACE TECH introduced a state-of-the-art IoT Tracker, one of the first to integrate signals from GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and the newly operational Galileo satellite network, achieving unprecedented accuracy in real-time vehicle tracking. It's the second product from our Lab.
